 ..Below: Some of the barns, most of which are gone now. Standing in the grounds of Grove farm, Harry Belham and Lawson Blanch dressed in there Darby & Jo outfits ready to go to Watton carnival, both lived in a small property at the rear of the farm. Lawson spoke of the gate that stood across from the farm at the front of the new bungalows at Merton green, known as the KISSING gate, and was a regular meeting place for the girls and boys, which has recently been removed.
